Our client has a reputation for tackling highly complex analytical studies requiring extensive industry expertise. With over 65 years of experience in aquatic, ecotoxicology, and environmental fate industries, they support clients in understanding chemical lifecycles and environmental impacts.

Based in a picturesque seafront location in Brixham, Devon, they offer a collaborative, team-focused culture with exposure to the latest analytical instrumentation.

Due to expansion, they seek an Analytical Chemist for their Environmental Fate department. The state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped with advanced instrumentation to support GLP-regulated projects. You will work with analytical tools such as LSC, HPLC, and TLC to identify and analyze radiochemicals (including 14C and 3H) in complex matrices, and perform extraction techniques like SPE, LLE, and QuEChERS.

Requirements include:

1. BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related fields
2. At least 6 months of hands-on HPLC/LC-MS experience, preferably in a GLP lab
3. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for laboratory work
