What is the opportunity?

Performance Management forms a key part of the Finance team and is responsible for the coordination and execution of financial planning and forecasting deliverables, business partnering and management reporting.

The position will be focused on the Wealth Management Europe business with a concentration on products and NII.

RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Support the delivery of financial planning and forecasting deliverables assigned to WM Europe Finance, including, but not limited to; the annual plan, 5-year outlook and forecasts.
  • Support in the gathering and understanding of key assumption data used in forecasts. This includes analysing, evaluating and debating key assumptions and/or drivers.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and development of forecast models.
  • Support in the production of reporting materials (both routine and ad-hoc) with visual impact, clear structure and reader friendly content.
  • Support the analysis of large data sets in order to improve the business understanding of client books and costs.
  • Gain an understanding of how the WME deposit, loans, Investment management, Trust and custody businesses generate revenue.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • A Bachelor degree or AAT qualification or similar/equivalent.
  • Part-qualified accountant or willing to take on an accounting qualification.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • An understanding of financial services, specifically banking and Wealth Management industries.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable managing large and complex data sets.

Nice-to-have

  • Financial systems knowledge (TM1 Cognos etc).
  • Prior experience working in Wealth Management, Asset Management or banking.
