Qualifications

The Strategic Communications practice in London is looking for a dynamic, bright and proactive graduate to join the team. Key Responsibilities Of The Analyst Role

• Monitoring the news and media landscape on a daily basis for client and sector related articles and flagging with client teams accordingly
• Supporting client teams in managing the day-to-day running of accounts, including providing agendas, action points, monthly reporting, media lists, journalist briefing notes and research in a timely manner
• Interacting directly with journalists and City analysts
• Managing listed client results days including RNS and press release upload and distribution, monitoring for media coverage and on-the-ground logistical support on results days
• Drafting press releases and media summaries
• Conducting in depth background research on companies, sectors and issues to support existing client strategy and advice
• Supporting on new business development, including feeding into pitch presentations and meeting preparation
• Supporting the team with basic data and analysis

Skills & Experience

• Strong academics with a minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree classification or equivalent
• Internship experience with a professional or financial services firm, ideally with a focus on strategic communications
• Articulate and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to a team environment
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve
