The EMEA Internal Audit Office (EIA), as the Bank's third Line of Defence, aims to establish leading standards of governance and control in EMEA, helping make MUFG the most trusted financial group. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Audit Analysts are responsible for executing and delivering assigned elements of audit engagements within audit teams. This includes supporting the scoping, planning, reporting, issue validation, and continuous monitoring activities, as directed by the Audit Director/Senior Audit Manager. Candidates should possess project management skills, be structured in their approach, and capable of managing and prioritizing work, escalating challenges promptly. All activities must adhere to audit methodology and standards, meet deadlines, and include formal sign-offs of key documents.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Experience using data analytics tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) to perform full population testing.
• Experience in using data and insights to inform conclusions and decision-making.

Preferred

• Experience in a similar audit role within a large corporation, investment bank, or Big-4 firm.
• Knowledge of Risk Management, including Market, Credit, Enterprise, and Operational Risk.
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment in the EMEA region.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of internal audit roles and functions.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, associated risks, and processes.
• Knowledge of controls to mitigate risks.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance issues.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education / Qualifications

• Studying towards professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA is advantageous.

• Executing and delivering assigned audit components within the plan, managing issues timely and according to KPIs, with minimal supervision and in compliance with methodology and quality standards.
• Producing clear, impactful issues for executive audiences, aligned with business writing standards, requiring minimal edits from senior management.

Stakeholder Relationships

• Supporting the integration of agile frameworks to enhance stakeholder engagement during audits and issue escalation.
• Partnering with stakeholders to demonstrate impact through tangible outcomes and improved controls.
• Identifying and escalating emerging risks during continuous monitoring activities.
