Technical Reporting and Development Analyst
Based in Basildon, Essex - Hybrid Role
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
GBP30k - GBP35k + Benefits

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service through data-driven insights? We are looking for a Technical Reporting and Development Analyst to join the Sales Planning & Administration team within the motor industry. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting key stakeholders with accurate, timely, and actionable reports, helping to shape strategic decisions.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, ensuring that data is not only analyzed but communicated effectively to drive business success. Your ability to explain complex insights in a clear and customer-friendly manner will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer-Focused Reporting: Provide clear, insightful reports to support internal teams and key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with senior management, dealers, and operational teams, ensuring their reporting needs are met efficiently.
3. Sales Performance Support: Monitor, evaluate, and analyze the motor and industry sales data, helping drive informed decision-making.
4. Forecast Management: Oversee and communicate weekly Car & CV Forecast updates, ensuring all relevant teams have the information they need.
5. Process Improvement: Work proactively to refine reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and clarity for stakeholders.
6. Presentation & Communication: Prepare high-quality reports and presentations, translating complex data into meaningful insights for senior leadership and dealers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly and concisely to different audiences. Must be proficient with Excel / Macros.
• Experience with V-Lookups / X-Lookups / COUNTIFS / SUMIFS / Pivots and PowerPoint.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder needs.
• Attention to detail to ensure reports are accurate, insightful, and timely.
• Team player who collaborates well with internal teams to enhance business performance.
• Experience in the motor industry, with knowledge of systems and registration processes, is highly desirable.
• A-Level education (or higher); a university degree is preferred but not essential.
