Job summary

Eden Scott in Glasgow is seeking an Analyst Programmer to join a leading global legal organisation's Digital Practice Solutions team. The role focuses on developing and supporting enterprise-scale finance and practice management systems using SQL Server, .NET and related technologies.

You will lead technical activities, work with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement across key projects in a hybrid Glasgow-based setup.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL Server and SQL scripting experience.
• Experience developing with Microsoft technologies including .NET and/or VB.NET.
• Knowledge of XML technologies, including XSLT and XPath.
• Understanding of web-based application architecture and design.
• Experience supporting and enhancing business-critical applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical lead for the Elite 3E platform and related business applications.
• Developing, enhancing and supporting critical finance and practice management systems.
• Delivering end-to-end development activities including design, build, testing, deployment and support.
• Supporting upgrades, integrations, new functionality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Providing third-line application support and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Producing technical documentation and supporting testing activities across key projects.
