Job summary

CSS is seeking a Pricing Analyst to maximize margins through price setting and analysis of pricing strategies. You will use advanced data mining and analysis skills to assess new and existing pricing and implement updates in line with established strategies.

You will generate margin reports, collaborate with sales, supply chain, and purchasing, and ensure data accuracy and integrity while supporting financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of analytical pricing, purchasing, or finance experience.
• 1 year of data analyst work in wholesale or retail distribution preferred.
• Strong data mining, aggregation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced analytics of margin opportunities and provides recommendations for improvement.
• Creates, implements, and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly margin impact reports, and provides summary of margin issues and recommendations.

• Resolves issues related to pricing with sales and supply chain personnel and initiates any necessary adjustments or corrections.
