About the team and the role

The Price & Promotions team develops and executes strategies to enhance Ocado Retail’s value proposition, ensuring initiatives resonate with customers and are effectively implemented. As a Pricing & Promotions Analyst, you will analyze pricing and promotional data, provide actionable insights, and support strategic projects and new tools deployment. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management are essential.

What you’ll do

• Analyze commercial and market data to assess price and promotional performance and recommend actions.
• Create tools and reports to aid understanding of pricing and promotion outcomes.
• Support analysis of strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
• Assist in rolling out new tools and processes within the Commercial team, collaborating with Buyers to optimize performance.

Who you are

Essential:

• At least 1 year of experience in an analytical role, comfortable with problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with project management skills.
• Ability to communicate analytics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Proven stakeholder management experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with SQL (preferably BigQuery).
• Background in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
