  • Convene our vast network to create opportunities for collaborative action
  • Harness our global scale to influence policymakers and regulators to effect system change
Job Description

The PRI has a highly regarded programme to help support signatories’ incorporation of responsible investment in their investment processes. You will be joining the team that works with signatories, internal teams and other groups to deliver that programme, for example through the development of technical guides, content on topics such as climate change and human rights, webinars, and podcasts.

Working with the broader team, there will be the opportunity to gain experience working on programmes across multiple asset classes and with institutional asset owners; however, the role is intended primarily to be working with signatories focused on infrastructure, real estate and private equity.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks, be proactive, and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. You will be working alongside internal and external topic experts, providing you with an excellent environment to grow professionally and be at the frontline of new industry developments.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on topics relating to a range of asset and issue specific topics and contribute to the development of the PRI’s asset class workstreams, with a principal focus on private markets (infrastructure, real estate and private equity).
  • Support the planning and delivery of a range of content for signatories, including blogs, webinars, case studies and guidance documents.
  • Engage proactively with other internal teams – for example, our Issues and Reporting and Assessment teams – to ensure that key learnings from their work is accurately reflected in asset class content.
  • Manage the process of team communications on, for example, external newsletters and internal communications.
  • Support communications with the broader signatory base through coordination of groups such as our asset class Advisory Committees and the PRI Collaboration platform, as well as responses to ad-hoc questions from signatories.
  • Support the Director of Guidance in delivering against the team’s business plan and budget.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Director of Guidance and Chief Solutions & Technology Officer as required.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable experience or understanding of responsible investment or corporate social responsibility. This couldbe from a range of sources, such as academic studies; experience with asset managers and asset owners or corporate entities; consulting experience working with such organisations; or from research roles.
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills, and comfortable adapting content to different internal and external audiences and different levels of seniority.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience of synthesising information to produce structured, insightful and impactful outputs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft and Salesforce an advantage.
  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others and committed to fostering an inclusive working environment that supports the mission and aims of the PRI.
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to developing others and a growth mindset, actively pursuing continuous professional and personal development and opportunities to drive improvements in ways of working.
  • Good project and time management skills, with the ability to support and deliver complex, cross-team projects that meet the needs of PRI signatories.
  • Ability to work with international partners and understand different political or cultural environments.
  • Language skills, other than English, are desirable.

We particularly welcome candidates from under-represented groups, including Black, Asian, and other People of Colour, those with visible or non-visible disabilities, LGBTQ+ candidates and those who are neurodivergent.

The PRI is committed to offering flexibility to our employees, both formal (e.g. part-time work) and informal (e.g. a shift in hours to accommodate caring responsibilities). Please talk to us about how we could make this role flexible for you.

N.B. We reserve the right to close a vacancy in the event of an overwhelming response or a change in business priorities.
