Corporate Analysis

As an analyst, you will support the constabulary in making Hampshire & Isle of Wight safe for everyone. Policing challenges are constant and evolving. Hampshire continues to strengthen community trust through fair, transparent, and ethical policing.

We are recruiting analysts for our Corporate Analysis team. You will work on both quantitative and qualitative analysis across various policing topics, including crime, organisational insights, performance, and resource demand. Your role involves researching, collecting, assessing, and interpreting information to provide valuable analysis for community safety.

Our team also handles strategic workforce forecasting and analysis, empowering decision-making to develop workforce flexibility, capability, and inclusivity in a changing environment.

We produce reports, briefings, and analytical products to help the force understand workforce capacity, demand, crime impact, and performance. We utilize tools such as PowerBI, Business Objects, Excel, and data models to deliver insights.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to QCF Level 6 or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with innovative problem-solving approaches
  • Experience analyzing complex information
  • Effective report writing and presentation skills
  • Confidence debating complex issues in high-level meetings
  • Ability to use own initiative and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience maintaining relationships
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
