What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a recent University graduate who is smart, ambitious, and motivated to join RBC Custody FX Services, a global business focused on providing outsourced FX solutions.

The role of Analyst, Custody FX Services, involves collaborating with FX Product, FX Sales, Global Coverage, Technology & Operations, Network management, and Liquidity Providers to develop and deliver world-class FX services and solutions.

This is an entry-level, full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with one day optional for remote work.

What will you do?
  • Execute and manage FX orders in onshore Emerging Markets with local agents and liquidity venues.
  • Support clients with Direct EM execution requirements, acting as the Desk SME.
  • Oversee automated FX execution flows related to Standing Instruction and Currency Overlay.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and expand the platform.
  • Enhance e-trading processes globally in onshore Emerging Markets.
  • Ensure post-execution product control, KPI monitoring, client fee accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Support RBC-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver excellent client service at all times.
What do you need to succeed?

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Interest in macroeconomics, market drivers, and FX markets, especially Emerging Markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and VBA.
Nice-to-have
  • Understanding of custody, investment management, or funds business, including Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.
  • FX hedging or overlay experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, Python, and R.
