- Salary: Competitive per annum
- Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
- Location: Flexible - up to 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley
- Contract: 4 month FTC

About the role
The role sits in the Consumer & Market Insights team and involves understanding consumer behavior, market trends, and Virgin Atlantic’s performance to inform marketing strategies. Responsibilities include managing research projects, supporting brand and product development, analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive insights and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ad-hoc, qualitative & quantitative research projects, working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Support the evolution of product portfolio and brand strategy through research insights.
- Lead quantitative projects using internal and external tools, from briefing to analysis and reporting.
- Help develop and optimize brand strategies and consumer initiatives based on research findings.
- Evaluate key initiatives on brand and customer experience metrics, providing actionable recommendations.
- Design research requirements to ensure tools meet marketing and business needs.
- Translate insights into clear stories for stakeholders, highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Support teams with data and trends to inform business decisions and future initiatives.
- Train teams on research tools and methodologies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and advocate for research-driven decision-making.
- Serve as a point of contact for consumer and market insights requests across teams.
- Champion the use of research to represent the voice of the consumer in decision-making.
About You
- Experience in consumer research, marketing, consulting, or related fields; aviation/travel experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate insights and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with various research methods, including qualitative, quantitative, and tracking studies.
- Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, with the ability to handle large datasets and visualize data effectively.
- Experience managing teams, projects, or vendor relationships.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
- Effective communicator with a clear point of view grounded in data.
