Job summary

Miryco Consultants is recruiting for an Analyst – Annuities Specialist to join a growing insurance business in a London hybrid role. You will support development, launch and governance of annuity products, while coordinating with Product Managers, Distribution, Pricing Actuaries and Operations.

The role offers broad exposure across functions and a clear path to long-term career growth within the retirement market, reporting to senior stakeholders and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally Insurance or Pensions.
• This could suit someone who has touched upon Annuities from a Big 4 role (consultancy / audit) and wants to move in-house.
• Ideally a 2:1 or above degree from a reputable University.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved wherever required.
• Degree educated or equivalent experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Distribution Directors with reporting, presentations and sales support activities.
• Liaise with Pricing Actuaries to coordinate data requests, documentation and governance activities.
• Support Operations teams to help ensure product launches and business initiatives are delivered successfully.
• Prepare management information, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, actions and project plans across multiple workstreams.
• Analyse business data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Provide general analytical and administrative support to a growing, high-performing team.

Analyst – Annuities Specialist

Miryco Consultants is working with a highly respected financial services organisation as they continue to expand their insurance business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at the early stages of a significant business launch, offering exceptional exposure across multiple functions and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an analytical, organised and commercially minded individual who enjoys variety and wants to develop a broad understanding of how a major financial services business brings products to market.

The Opportunity

You'll become a key member of the new team, providing day-to-day support across a wide range of business activities.
