Active Norfolk, in collaboration with Norfolk County Council’s Insight and Analytics department is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as an Analyst for our pivotal work with ‘Place Partnerships’. Sport England have committed significant investment and strategic emphasis on the importance of detailed local understanding and physical activity interventions that are informed by evidence and community need. This role will be at the forefront of driving the insight function for this impactful work.
Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate research, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and insight practices across the work being planned and delivered in the three ‘place’ areas of King’s Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Breckland.
As an Analyst for Place Partnerships, you will collaborate with relevant project colleagues to understand their needs and implement processes to capture and utilise insights effectively. Your role will involve collecting, analysing, and communicating data and insights to the project team and stakeholders. You will be instrumental in producing dashboards, reports, presentations, and other essential outputs.
Whilst embedded in Active Norfolk, you will also benefit from working as part of Norfolk County Council’s Insight and Analytics (I&A) directorate. All our office-based roles work on a hybrid basis from home and our office base as part of our Smarter Working plans and to support the health and wellbeing of all our colleagues. We anticipate that hybrid working will be a key feature of this role going forward – our office base is located at Easton College, Norwich. Occasional travel to events and meetings in the three ‘place’ areas in Norfolk will be required.
