European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking an Analyst in the Blended Finance team to support donor strategies and blended finance initiatives within the Impact & Partnerships unit. The Analyst will contribute to donor strategies and policies and collaborate with banking teams to mobilise donor funds and maximise leverage and impact.

Blended concessional finance contributes to EBRD's ability to fulfil its transition mandate. Over 60% of the Bank's investments are supported by donor funding through technical cooperation grants and blended concessional finance instruments (capex/incentive grants, concessional debt, funded/unfunded concessional guarantees, risk-sharing mechanisms). In the current external environment of declining Official Development Assistance resulting from the global poly-crises, EBRD is developing an updated approach to sourcing and using concessional donor funds in line with the Bank's Strategic Capital Framework (SCF) 2026-30 and its new Donor Strategy 2026-30. The Impact & Partnerships Blended Finance team is a joint unit of the Impact and Donor Partnerships departments within the Vice Presidency Policy & Partnerships with the mandate to provide seamless end-to-end services, from EBRD banking teams to donors, in the strategic sourcing and using of concessional donor funds to maximize the leverage, private capital mobilisation and impact of EBRD's donor funds in support of the Bank's operations and strategic objectives.
