Job Title:Analyser Technician

Location:Peterborough

Salary:£26,000- £28,000 depending on experience

Hours:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Based in Peterborough, we design, and manufacture gas and liquid analysers used around the world in environmental monitoring, emissions control, and industrial safety. From one-off bespoke systems to standard instruments, everything is developed, built and tested in-house.

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and practically minded Analyser Technician to join our small but highly skilled team. Whether you’re building electronic assemblies, testing analysers with gas and liquid samples, or supporting field service work, no two days are the same. What you’ll be doing:

As part of our small but dynamic production team, you will be involved in the manufacture, testing and calibration of our advanced gas and liquid analysers. This role is ideal for someone who is practical, inquisitive, and eager to develop their technical skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and testing electronic and electromechanical assemblies
  • Calibrating instruments using gas and liquid samples
  • Using PC-based software to process and interpret calibration data
  • Maintaining test equipment and calibration tools
  • Occasional site visits for service and support, including potential international travel
  • Testing, packing and dispatching spare parts
  • Supporting new product builds and maintaining health and safety and documentation standards
  • Processing and inspecting incoming goods

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has A-levels or equivalent in Science or Maths-based subjects (beneficial)
  • Has a methodical approach with attention to detail and quality
  • Is a team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude
  • Is keen to learn and develop, with an interest in technology and instrumentation
  • Has experience in calibration principles (beneficial, but not essential – training will be given)
