This is a new opportunity for an Analog/Mixed Signal Lead Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company based in Edinburgh, working on low-power, high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal IC designs in advanced CMOS processes for consumer applications. In this role, you will join the team developing high-performance data converter ICs and amplifiers. Your responsibilities include designing high-performance delta-sigma/SAR ADCs and DACs, as well as participating in the design of various classes of amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes.
Responsibilities include:
Candidates should have a Masters or PhD in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics, with relevant experience in Analog/Mixed signal CMOS circuit design. A good knowledge of Analog IC Design fundamentals on sub-micron CMOS processes, and proficiency in Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, or Matlab are required. Experience in ADC/DAC and/or DC/DC designs, along with ESD and IO driver design, is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are necessary. The ideal candidate will be organized, thorough, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
