We're Hiring: Analog IC Design Engineer (UK)

A leading semiconductor innovator is looking for anIC Design Engineer to join their growing R&D team in the Chelmsford area. This is a hands-on design role focused on cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal IC development for next-gen communication technologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design high-performance analogue/RF blocks (filters, PLLs, bandgaps, VGAs, TIAs, etc.)
  • Work with advanced SiGe & CMOS processes
  • Collaborate cross-site on test planning and silicon characterisation
  • Create detailed design documentation and support product evaluation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry experience in IC design (analogue/mixed-signal)
  • Solid knowledge of circuit fundamentals – noise, linearity, mismatch, etc.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and version control systems
  • Proven track record with silicon tapeouts (SiGe and/or CMOS)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
