East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its anaesthetics service at Colchester Hospital with a new orthopaedic unit, a second vascular theatre and a bariatric service. The post-holder will support elective and emergency surgery on site, and cross-site work may be arranged.

The role includes participation in the general and obstetric on‑call rota and a mix of operating theatre sessions, with on‑call frequency 1:18. We welcome applications from suitably qualified consultants.

• Participate in fixed or flexible operating theatre sessions and out of hours on‑call rota.
