Job description

We are recruiting for Band 5 Anaesthetic Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join our experienced teams in In-patient Theatres.

The Royal London Hospital is an internationally reputable Trauma Centre and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).

We have 26 state-of-the-art elective and emergency theatres, covering a variety of specialties and complex procedures:

  1. Hepto-billary, complex ENT, trauma & orthopaedics, reconstructive orthopaedics
  2. Neurosurgery, complex vascular surgery, intervention radiology
  3. Maxillofacial surgery, robotic procedures, renal transplants
  4. Plastic reconstructive surgery, neonatal surgery, shared airway ENT
  5. Ophthalmic surgery, paediatric expertise for the major trauma service in South East England

We also cover areas outside the theatres including the endoscopy unit, radio-interventional suite, MRI/CT scanner suites, and our specialised staff work with the Trauma Team in the Emergency Department’s Resuscitation area. This offers an opportunity to work with renowned Specialist Trauma Surgeons and Anaesthetists.
