Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed CAMHS Nurse – Specialist Eating Disorders Service to work in an exceptional private mental health hospital in the Manchester area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This hospital offers residential facilities, day care, and outpatient services for mental health treatment.

Requirements: To be considered, you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist advice, guidance, training, therapeutic support, and consultation within a CAMHS Service as part of an MDT.
• Directly supporting service users with psychological interventions, physical health care, and monitoring.
• Contributing to the formulation of service users' needs and creating evidence-based plans.
• Providing consultation and leadership to team colleagues and external professionals, and contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives for children and young people with disordered eating.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Evidence of post-registration CPD.
• A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £31,900 – £34,227 per annum, working full-time nights up to 44 hours per week. Benefits include:
