Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional residential service in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. The service supports adults with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), aged 18 and over, and is operated by one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

Minimum Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care

As Deputy Manager, your key duties include:

• Supporting people with complex needs, helping service users achieve their goals, and promoting their skills and confidence through staff involvement, activities, and initiatives
• Leading and inspiring your team to provide high-quality, person-centred support and care
• Delivering best practices in social care and continually developing the service
• Managing people and processes effectively to ensure service success

The preferred skills and experience include:

• Practical knowledge and experience in a similar role
• Current knowledge of relevant legislation
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Ability to develop staff support skills

The position offers a salary of £13.50 per hour (£28,080 per annum), working full-time (40 hours/week) during day shifts. Benefits include:
