Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking 3–4 Electromechanical Assembly Technicians for a 4-week contract at our West London workshop near Notting Hill. Start date is ASAP; on-site role with immediate team exposure in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly, wiring, and BOM-driven builds. Robotics or AMR familiarity is a plus, though not required; strong tooling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in electromechanical assembly of complex systems (robotics, EVs, AMRs, industrial equipment).
• Practical experience with wiring harnesses, crimping, soldering, routing, and low-voltage DC power.
• Ability to read, interpret and build from engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Work ethic: comfortable with hand and power tools, detail-oriented, team player.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) from drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Perform electrical wiring and harness work with precision crimping, routing and soldering.
• Wire low-voltage DC systems, motors, motor controllers and sensors.
• Use hand and power tools to maintain high precision and quality.
• Collaborate with the engineering team in a fast-paced workshop.
