Job summary

You will drive documentation, EDD for high-risk clients, and screening for PEPs, sanctions, and negative media, while guiding the team through investigations and audits to maintain strong financial crime controls.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of AML/KYC regulations, laws and best practices, locally and internationally.
• Proven experience leading or managing compliance/AML teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the funds industry and financial crime prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead AML/KYC assessments and reviews related to investor accounts and fund promoters.
• Oversee the AML refresh team and ensure risk profiles are updated per guidelines.
• Manage high-risk client identification, including PEP/sanctions screening and negative media checks.
