Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Money Laundering Liaison Officer for the 1st Line Financial Crime team. The role focuses on risk assessment of higher-risk business banking referrals, including scenarios involving PEPs and sanctions, and liaising with colleagues across the bank.

You will analyse information, determine risk ratings, and guide decision making, with hybrid working across the UK and occasional travel to our Glasgow, Northampton or London offices.

Qualifications

• Solid AML background and understanding of economic crime
• Experience assessing risk across business banking customers
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at senior levels
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of completing customer risk assessments for business customers across products and policies
• Provide clear due diligence guidance to Financial Crime Operations and risk teams
• Engage with stakeholders to support decision making and process improvements
• Apply knowledge of AML, sanctions and bribery risks to everyday banking operations
