Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking experienced Internal Meter Fitters/Plumbers to support a large-scale AMI Smart Meter installation programme. You will replace water meters inside occupied properties at the point of entry, working on internal pipework and attending pre-booked appointments.

Across a Monday-to-Friday schedule with 10–12 appointments per week, the role offers a competitive day rate and immediate starts through Christmas. Driving licence and own tools are preferred."

Qualifications

• Plumbing or Meter Installation experience.
• Experience working within domestic properties.
• Good customer-facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own tools preferred.
• Water industry experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Installation of AMI Smart Water Meters.
• Working on existing internal pipework systems.
• Attending pre-booked customer appointments.
• Completing installation paperwork and photographic records.
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst working in occupied premises.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification.
