Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an Ancillary Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) Operative based at Hoyland. The role involves deep cleaning frontline ambulance vehicles, maintaining garage and clinical areas, and supporting operations with a 24-hour service. A Level 2 Apprenticeship and Level 2 NCFE are part of the training package.

Flexible hours with unsocial payments apply. Training starts with a 4-week programme; occasional cross-site travel may be required, with transport

Qualifications

• No experience is required as full training will be given.
• An initial 4-week Training package is part of Learning and Development.

Responsabilités

• Process Ambulance Service Vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way to ensure each vehicle is fully equipped and prepared.
• Perform detailed cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control activities.
• Check and inspect medical and lifting & handling equipment; restock consumables.
• Complete vehicle checks and prepare consumables; stock control, refuelling and moving vehicles.
• Record daily activities and manage equipment repatriation from Hospital Trusts.
