A leading company in healthcare logistics seeks an Ambulance Technician in Manchester. Ambulance Technician
• Job type - Casual contract / Subcontractor
• Based - Manchester
• Pay - TBC depending on PAYE or subcontractor agreement
• Company pension scheme
• Holidays - 28 days per year (pro-rata)
• Hours - Open shifts available from up to 40+ hours per week; typical shifts are 4 days on, 4 days off. Other hours and patterns can be accommodated. The business operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
Start date - End of June (actual date TBC)
Initially, a zero-hours contract is offered to successful applicants.

The job
Working in partnership with the NHS and other care providers, our teams of trained, highly skilled Emergency Care Assistants/Urgent Care Assistants (ECA/UCA) provide high-quality care in response to various situations, including medical/trauma emergencies, inter-hospital transfers, and hospital admissions. ECAs work as part of a dedicated team alongside Ambulance Care Assistants, Urgent Care Assistants, and qualified clinicians to deliver potentially life-saving care and transportation to hospitals.
