EMED Group is seeking an Ambulance Fleet Assistant to support our regional operations in Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire, covering Thurmaston, Kibworth, Loughborough, Worksop, Mansfield and Nottingham. The role focuses on keeping routine mechanical equipment compliant and up to date in Fleetcheck, with responsibility for VOR management and timely defect clearance.

You will help manage parts stock, coordinate maintenance, and drive a high standard of safety and efficiency across the fleet.

Formación

• Hold a Full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points.
• Experience using practical and mechanical skills.
• Able to complete vehicle deep cleans to a high standard.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, service and maintain equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Schedule and perform vehicle deep cleans with supporting documentation.
• Ensure defects are promptly cleared with documentation.
• Maintain basic spare parts stock and report defects.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
• Advise Fleet management when a repair cannot be completed to a safe standard.
• Report incident equipment to Fleet management.
• Dekitting vehicles before collection and logging equipment.
