Job summary

HTG-UK is hiring Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team in Southend-On-Sea. As an ACA you will provide safe, reliable and compassionate transport for vulnerable patients, going beyond driving to offer patient support and care throughout each journey.

We value patience, empathy, and resilience, with two weeks of funded training, a full uniform, and ongoing mentorship. A full UK manual driving licence and Enhanced DBS are part of the onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive patients to and from healthcare appointments while providing reassurance and compassionate care.
• Assist with mobility, including safe lifting and transferring patients to vehicles or homes.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff, maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
