We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Ambulance Care Assistants to transport patients who are frail or require specialist assistance to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, and similar facilities.

You should be flexible, adaptable, discreet when needed, and possess a good sense of humour and local knowledge of the area you will serve.

The role involves transporting non-urgent patients to and from health/social care facilities and private residences. It requires a professional, caring attitude and teamwork.
You will work either in a team of two or alone, operating various vehicle types.
A full UK manual car driving licence with at least one year of driving experience is required.
Please note: a maximum of 3 penalty points for minor motoring offences will be considered.
Your training will consist of a 3-week paid course (Monday – Friday), covering clinical first responder skills, patient transport, and uniform provision. Attendance is mandatory for the entire duration. Travel and accommodation costs are your responsibility, as venues are typically Welwyn Garden City & Barton Mills.
You must be able to commit to this training schedule.
