Pathway Legal in Belfast is seeking a Litigation Solicitor with plaintiff personal injury experience to join its busy team. The role is ideally suited to someone with 2–3 years’ PQE, though newly qualified solicitors with relevant training will be considered.

You will handle a varied PI caseload, work closely with a Director and six other solicitors, and provide clear client communication, sound drafting and practical case management across a busy NI practice.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor eligible to practise in Northern Ireland.
• Ideally 2–3 years’ PQE in litigation, preferably plaintiff personal injury.
• Newly qualified solicitors with relevant experience encouraged to apply.

Aufgaben

• Managing plaintiff personal injury matters from initial instruction through to settlement or court proceedings.
• Handling road traffic accident, employers’ liability and public liability claims.
• Advising clients and keeping them informed throughout their cases.
• Gathering and reviewing evidence, including medical reports and supporting documentation.
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other court documents.
• Liaising with counsel, medical experts, insurers and other solicitors.
• Preparing matters for hearing and assisting with settlement negotiations.
• Maintaining accurate files and managing deadlines effectively.
• Working closely with colleagues on more complex matters.
