Job summary

Assistant Site Manager – Canary Wharf in London is seeking an experienced construction professional to support site operations on regeneration projects valued up to £700m. The role is on-site with a major contractor offering a competitive package and travel allowance alongside pension contributions and healthcare membership.

The ideal candidate has on-site experience with main contractors, a degree or equivalent, and demonstrates strong problem-solving, reliability and client-facing presentation.

Qualifications

• Experienced working on site with main contractors.
• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business.
• Good problem solver and able to work with minimal instruction.
• Smart, presentable and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
• Punctual, reliable and practical in execution.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to certify the site stays on plan and budget.
• Support the Site Manager in managing all site resources including Sub-Contractors.
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained across projects.
• Assist with delivery of production requirements in line with technical and planning docs.
