Job summary

Axalta, a global coatings leader, is seeking a Filling Operator (AM shift) at our Wellingborough site. You will operate filling and packing lines, manage changeovers, and maintain safety, quality and housekeeping to sustain line performance.

The role requires GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent, good numeracy, and experience with PLCs and chemical filling. You will work in a team, report clearly, and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Competency in interpreting data in business systems and reading numbers on works orders.
• Experience in filling/packing operations and a click with PLCs.
• Good numeracy, spoken English and ability to read and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual filling and packing equipment.
• Set up/changeover production filling lines and perform clean downs.
• Record and monitor performance against targets (HSE, quality, OEE).
• Maintain housekeeping standards and organize components for production.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and escalate issues promptly.
