Job summary

Sunday River is hiring for breakfast service roles on the food and beverage team. Positions include both full-time and part-time openings with a focus on delivering friendly, professional guest service and assisting in daily restaurant operations.

Shifts start early (6:30 AM or earlier) and include weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include maintaining clean FOH areas, taking care of guests, upselling menu items, and adhering to brand standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and sanitize FOH areas; keep dining areas clean.
• Pre-bus and reset tables; assist during opening/closing shifts and cash-outs.

• Coordinate with management for maintenance and ensure dining room appearance meets standards.
• Support team during high-volume periods and assist outside of outlet when needed.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Complete daily set-up, stocking, tear-down, and overall sanitization of the service areas and FOH in the restaurant
• Keep floors, chairs and tables clean in each section
• Pre-bussing tables, re-set tables
• Complete opening and closing shift duties, cash outs, and side work as assigned by MOD, FOH supervisor, or Lead Server
• Immediately communicate with the Manager regarding any guest concerns or complaints
• Must be able to quickly and correctly answer guest questions regarding the menu, upselling, ingredients, and offer suggestions
• Communicate to MOD maintenance and repairs as needed for FOH for the dining room to be presentable and in working order for all guests
• Follow state, local, federal, and Sunday River guidelines and laws on proper liquor service
• Must be able to inform guests of the menu choices at other mountain restaurants, promote area activities and be able to answer general knowledge questions involving the resort
• Responsible for operating the FOH within the guidelines outlined in the Boyne Brand Standard Audit
• At times of high volume within the resort, assistance may be required outside of the assigned outlet

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Ideal candidate will have T.I.P.S. training and relevant experience
• Breakfast shifts are early in the morning, starting at or before 6:30 AM, and include weekends and holidays with more time being needed during periods of extremely heavy business.

• Wages start at $15.10 per hour plus tips.
