Job Title: AM Production Operative

Location: North Curry, Somerset

Salary: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)

Working Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm and Saturday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking AM Production Operatives to join a food production business based in North Curry. This is a hands-on role working in chilled and frozen environments, handling both raw and cooked chicken.

The Job:

1. Work across low risk and high risk areas of production.
2. Load raw product onto cooking plates in the low risk area.
3. Load and unload racks into and from ovens.
4. Operate chargrilling and cooling equipment.
5. Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products in the high risk area.
6. Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met and maintained.
7. Adhere to strict hygiene, food safety, and quality control standards.

The Requirements:

1. Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments.
2. Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential.
3. Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift.
4. Good level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
5. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
