Job Title: Cleaner

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Full Time

Type of Employment: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Day Shift (6.15am to 2.15pm), 4 days on, 2 days off

Location: Manchester Airport, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England, M90 1QX

Job Description

As a Cleaner, your responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety of equipment, adhering to SLAs, and following health and safety standards. You will learn about the cleaning areas, equipment, and chemicals used, and complete all required training. The role involves working within a team and independently, building positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service, and seeking continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, with previous cleaning experience being desirable but not essential. A flexible approach, honesty, self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism are important qualities.

Vetting Requirements

Note: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Valid passport or driving license
• Right to work documentation (e.g., residence permit); if your visa has less than 6 weeks remaining, bring proof of your visa application
• Proof of current address (dated within the past 3 months)
• Name change documentation if applicable (marriage certificate/deed poll)
• Work history for the last 5 years, including references if available
• National Insurance details
• DBS check (to be completed)

Once these are confirmed, you'll undergo a security interview, reference checks, a GSAT security certificate, and will be issued an airport pass.
