Western University seeks an Alumni Engagement Officer to enhance lifelong engagement with alumni worldwide. This 17-month temporary full-time role involves coordinating programs, managing events, and fostering relationships with alumni. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and relevant experience in event management and communications.
Classification & Regular Hours
Hours per Week: 35
Salary Grade 15: $69,180 - $81,370, commensurate with experience.

All departments within the Division build enduring alumni and public trust through understanding and support for Western University in a coordinated campus-wide effort that results in the engagement and funding needed to make an impact. There are 3 departments within the Division – Departments of Development, Alumni Relations and Advancement Operations
Responsibilities
The Alumni Engagement Officer is responsible for coordinating relevant and meaningful programs, services and benefits, in order to foster lifelong engagement of Western University's alumni living around the globe. The role will develop innovative systems and strategies that introduce and emphasize the importance of a lifelong relationship with Western, ensuring that programs, services and benefits are relevant and appealing to alumni who live internationally. The role will provide leadership to facilitate the growth and expansion of global markets and alumni served, and manage the recruitment, training and recognition of alumni volunteers who support global alumni engagement. The Alumni Engagement Officer will research and deliver best practices for creating meaningful engagement with alumni through targeted programming, communications and digital engagement strategies.
