University of Oxford is seeking an Alumni Engagement Executive to strengthen relationships with our global alumni network. You will work with academic and professional services colleagues to turn ideas into practical engagement activities and to influence colleagues across departments.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements, a generous pension, extensive annual leave, and opportunities to engage with a vibrant university community through sports clubs and cultural activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience delivering engagement activities that support wider organisational goals.
  • The ability to influence and motivate colleagues without direct management responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing priorities and taking initiative.
  • Confidence using CRM systems.

About the Role

As an Alumni Engagement Executive, you will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues to develop practical ways for departments to build stronger relationships with their alumni.

You will understand their priorities, identify opportunities for alumni involvement and help turn ideas into effective engagement activities.

A key part of the role is building relationships and influencing stakeholders across different teams and departments.

You will encourage colleagues to share good practice, recognise and track alumni engagement, and help create a positive and consistent experience for Oxford alumni.

This new role offers an exciting opportunity to influence how we work with departments and services, including the Careers Service and sports clubs, to strengthen alumni engagement across Oxford.

About You

You will have:

£39,424 to £47,779 per annum with possible extension to £51,983 inclusive of an Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per year (pro rata). Grade 7
