Job summary

TVS Group is seeking a skilled welder to join its manufacturing team in Scotland. You will weld aluminium components, including fuel tanks and hydraulic oil tanks, following SOPs and CAD drawings.

The role requires experience with MIG and TIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and precise use of a tape measure. You will work independently within a small team and adhere to the time sheet. We value health and safety and ongoing staff training in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Experienced MIG & TIG welder with alloy experience.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work from CAD/SOPs.
• Accurate use of a tape measure and precision in fabrication.
• Knowledge of materials (box, angle, tube) used in components.
• Capable of working on their own within a small team and following a time sheet.
• Experience in steel welding is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture aluminium components including fuel tanks and hydraulic oil tanks per SOPs and CAD drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Promote equality and diversity in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as required by the Line Manager.
