Job description

The Role:

As an Alteryx Consultant at Keyrus, you will lead the full development lifecycle of advanced data analytics solutions using Alteryx. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable workflows, and optimize data processes to address critical business challenges. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with Alteryx, SQL, and data modeling to build efficient, automated data pipelines and analytics solutions from inception to deployment.

Additionally, experience with Qlik Sense and QlikView is a plus, enabling you to support data visualization and dashboarding needs where necessary.

  • Hybrid model: London-based - 3x time in Canary Wharf.
  • Duration: April 2025 to October 2025 - 7 months
  • Inside IR35 - £550/day

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs and data challenges.
  • Design and implement tailored data analytics solutions using Alteryx, SQL, and Qlik.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis and client objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for business optimization.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Alteryx to help clients visualize and interpret data.
  • Write complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Alteryx to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Help clients streamline data pipelines and improve overall data quality and flow.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to client teams on data-related projects.
  • Promote best practices in data management, visualization, and analysis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure seamless integration of analytical tools into existing systems.
  • Provide training to client teams on Alteryx, Qlik, and SQL to enhance their data capabilities.
  • Offer ongoing support and advice to ensure clients maximize the value of their data solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Communicate project progress and results to clients, keeping them informed of developments.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data consulting or analytical role, with a strong focus on delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in Alteryx for building and automating data workflows.
  • Familiarity with Qlik (Qlik Sense or QlikView) for developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing (DWH).
  • Python proficiency is highly desirable for automation, scripting, or advanced data analysis.
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present it in a clear, actionable way.
  • Proven track record in using data to solve business problems and drive strategic decisions.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and presentations.
  • Experience managing client projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively with client teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
