Prospero Teaching is seeking Alternative Provision Tutors for Flitwick to support students on a flexible contract basis. Roles include planning and delivering targeted sessions in Maths, English and Science, based on initial assessments and individual needs.

Candidates should have QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent and at least six months of UK school experience. Safeguarding updates are desirable and enhanced DBS checks may be required.

Competenze

• QTS/QTLS/PGCE/EYFS or equivalent required.
• 6 months+ experience in a UK school.
• Safeguarding training updated within the last year (desirable).

Mansioni

• Complete baseline assessments to understand student needs.
• Plan and deliver tutoring sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Provide support in Maths, English and Science.

Contract / Position Details

• Location - Flitwick
• Position - Alternative Provision Tutors
• Type of work - Contract
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - dependent on each student
• End date - N/A
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour. The hourly rate will be in line with professional pay scales where these are available or based on experience if they are not available.
• Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

Key Responsibilities

• Complete baseline assessments with the student to understand their individual needs.
• Plan and deliver tutoring sessions which have been tailored to their needs.
• Provide support in core subjects including Maths, English and Science.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional educational references that cover the last two years
