Job description

We are currently seeking a resilient and caring Secondary Teaching Assistant in Worcester, Worcester.

This role is based at an Alternative Provision school supporting students with challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

About This Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and external professionals, supporting students in managing the curriculum and developing confidence. Responsibilities include providing 1:1 and small group support, working as part of a team and individually to meet the needs of the children.

Requirements:
  • Experience with challenging behaviour is preferred; a Teaching Assistant qualification is not required if you have relevant experience.
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Pay: Starting from £89, depending on experience and qualifications
  • DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Relevant training and development opportunities
  • Full-time hours
