Job summary

An educational support service in Horncastle seeks an experienced SEN Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one support for children with additional needs. SEN Teacher - Individualised Support That Makes a Difference

Location: Horncastle and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only

Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible)

Delivery Model: One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs

The Opportunity

Your Role Will Involve
  1. Designing and delivering tailored lessons in core subjects, aligned with individual learning plans
  2. Creating a calm, structured environment that supports both academic and emotional development
  3. Working closely with families and carers to ensure consistent, wraparound support
  4. Encouraging independence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning
  5. Modelling inclusive values and promoting personal growth
What We're Looking For
  1. QTS or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
  2. At least 2 years of teaching experience
  3. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
  4. Experience across Key Stages 1-4
  5. A background in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs
  6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  7. Legal right to work in the UK
  8. A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
