Who we are looking for
State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider that is the backbone of the Alpha front to back strategy. Combining both technology and service provision to deliver significant data management value to our clients. We're looking for a candidate to manage the Onboarding of new clients into the Alpha Data Service.
What you will be responsible for
As Client Onboarding Analyst you will:
- Through the Implementation phase work with the ADS Practice Areas to ensure a holistic control environment is in place to validate data integrity through the Alpha architecture.
- Act as the SME for issues related to Data Controls, Validations, Data Readiness, and Dashboard/Event Monitor UI usage.
- Build and utilize a library of Demonstrations and Documentation to be shared and reviewed with the Clients at relevant phases of the implementation.
- Manage the roll off from the Implementation Team over to Client Service/Alpha Data Operations as projects move through the testing phases and into Hypercare.
- Support all operational readiness related to Alpha Data Operations and Technical Support to ensure all resourcing/system access/training is in place.
- Work with the client to prepare them for the transition to BAU, building a repository of Client Support Documentation to be handed over upon Go-Live.
- Support the BAU teams in Hypercare, helping to manage inquiries and assist in complex issue resolution, and escalation back to the programme.
- Provide insight and status updates to the Client and Program relating to the onboarding of all facets of the Alpha Control Framework.
- Support standardisation efforts, aligning Onboarding teams across the globe to a single operating model and delivery approach.
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- AVP: Willingness to grow into a client-facing role to manage the relationship pertaining to Alpha Data and the Control Framework.
- Leadership and ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organization.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and relationship management skills.
- Experience with Financial Services data domains – Security Master, Entity Master, Benchmarks, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance, Analytics etc.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SharePoint, Excel etc.
- Strong process documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of data architecture/SQL is helpful to interpret requirements but not required.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry.
