What’s the Role?
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils with diverse needs—ranging from autism and speech & language delays to physical and social-emotional challenges—feel safe, confident, and empowered to learn.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with ALN
• Work in a mix of mainstream, specialist provisions, and nursery settings
• Assist with tailored learning plans and behaviour support strategies
• Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social development
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience supporting children with ALN (essential)
• A calm, patient, and nurturing personality
• Flexible and adaptable – ready to work across different schools
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills
• Relevant qualifications in ALN or childcare (bonus, not essential)
