Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN/ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Newport in September 2026. The role involves one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils access classroom activities, and promoting communication, confidence and independence.
You'll work with pupils who may have autism, communication needs or learning difficulties, following individual learning plans and safeguarding procedures.
Location: Newport, South Wales
Pay: £465 - £550 weekly pay (depending on role)
Hours: School hours, Monday to Friday
Contract: September 2026, term‑time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
