Job summary

Lookers Mercedes-Benz in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting an Alloy Wheel Technician to join a small, expanding bodyshop team. You will perform repairs on standard and diamond cut wheels, using D/cut lathe equipment, and ensure work meets Lookers and manufacturer standards.

The role requires prior experience in a similar position or as a tyre fitter seeking career progression. A full driving licence with a good record is essential, and you will be part of a dedicated team focused on quality and

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to standard alloy wheels and diamond cut alloy wheels using mobile D/cut repair lathe equipment.

• Match alloy paint colours and maintain high quality standards.
• Explain work required and costs to customers and obtain approval at the outset.

Alloy Wheel Technician

Contract Type: Permanent FullTime

Salary: Up to £36,000 OTE (£30,000 basic)

Hours: 42 hours per week Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm - Saturday on a rota basis.

Lookers Mercedes-Benz is recruiting for skilled Alloy Wheel Technician to join our small, but expanding bodyshop team. This is the perfect opportunity to work for a main dealer and develop your skills further within Cosmetic repair.

Our Alloy Wheel Technicians provide an industry leading alloy wheel repair service with a focus on delivering a great customer experience every time!

• Carry out repairsto standard alloy wheels and diamond cut alloy wheels using mobile D/cut repair lathe equipment.
• You willensureall repairs are completed in line with Lookers and manufacturers processes.
• You will match alloy paint colours effectively and ensure the highest standards at all times.
• Effectively communicate with customers to agree on what work is required and any associated costs are all approved at the outset.

For this role we are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a similar role, this role would also suit a tyre fitter who is looking to progress their career. You will need to have a full driving licence with a good driving record.

You will also be a team player with a strong attention to details and a focus on quality.
