Job description

As a Partner Manager based in London and reporting to the Director of Alliances & Business Development Europe, you’ll be working in the Sage ecosystem within the EMEA region and will have significant scope to shape Tipalti’s activity within it. You will build close relationships with partners and leverage these to create revenue opportunities. We are looking for experienced partnership builders who understand ERP ecosystems and can create strong, lasting and credible engagement which will move the needle and contribute to Tipalti’s high growth success. You’ll be supported by Partner Enablement, Marketing, Sales, Product and Leadership functions. A collaborative, team player character is essential. Experience of accessing the Finance office through partner referrals and strong connections within mid market ERP partners and related ecosystems is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and realise opportunities for new alliances and partnerships to expand Tipalti’s reach into high growth businesses using our digitally transformative Accounts Payable & Purchase Order Management products.
  • Build and maintain long term relationships within Alliance Partners including Executive Sponsors, Partner Managers, Marketing teams, Sales functions and Technical Consultants.
  • Identify and produce high-quality referrals through regular compelling engagements with partners using enablement tools including face to face meetings, sales team training/coaching, webinars, co-marketing strategies, content and relationship building.
  • Collaborate internally with Partner Enablement, Marketing, Sales, Solution Consultants, Operations, Product, Legal and Compliance teams to align resources and deliver new and incremental revenue.
  • Give clear and concise feedback to internal stakeholders on partner programs, product compatibility, ecosystem viability.
  • Effectively communicate with management and the wider team through Salesforce updates, emails and other means.

Requirements

  • 7+ years SaaS and Alliances experience with ERP ecosystems especially Sage 200 and Intacct through Direct, ISVs and Reseller channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in scaling and growing a new and existing partnership ecosystems by developing, negotiating and closing partner deals.
  • Good knowledge of accounting / financial management / financial ops and especially accounts payable functions.
  • Builder mindset, comfortable sharing ideas, trying new approaches and is focused on achieving team and company short and long term goals.
  • Be self-motivated and have a resilient attitude to hitting targets.
  • An existing network of relationships across target alliance partners and ecosystems.
  • Strong ability to drive execution of strategic initiatives and tactics.
  • Ability to sell people and partners on the vision and mission of Tipalti and of our partner program - get them emotionally and commercially invested in the relationship.
  • A track record of working in a fast-paced environment, setting and exceeding your own demanding expectations, inspiring and supporting your teammates.
  • Solid attention to detail.
