This is a specialist allergy nursing role within a small team providing a regionally commissioned service. Any capable Level one Registered Nurse can perform this role, as no specific experience in allergy desensitisation is required; training will be provided. The role involves nurse-led desensitisation, supervised biologic treatments for chronic spontaneous urticaria, allergy skin prick testing, and administrative tasks including high-cost drug management, databasing, patient registries, and drug ordering.
